 Nah, nah, Mark! Never no meat!!!!! Bubble and squeak is fried up left over potatoes and cabbage. Our parents used to frighten us by saying Squeaky (the cat) had been included in the mix! We were always glad to see him still stalking around the kitchen! P S you have missed an “a” out of “squabble”.
