The on-stage continuity announcer promotes charitable causes during the festival. One year a blanket collection was being run to provide orthopaedic beds for a nearby hospital, only he kept saying orpathedic. (He seemed confused by the resulting giggles.)

(It was probably the same bloke who thought a blanket collection involved collecting blankets, rather than tossing money into a blanket as it’s taken round the field.)
